Location

Cowboy Cabin Information:

The Cowboy Cabin is located on the Main part of Ranch.

7950 Road G, Cortez, CO 81321

For the most accurate entrance location using Google Maps, you can enter: "Canyon of the Ancients Guest Ranch" in Google Maps or Apple Maps, which should guide you to our front gate.

goo.gl/maps/T6W5QNuj7LenvwJR9

From Cortez:

Take S. Broadway/Rte 491 to County Rd G (the same road where Cortez Airport is located). Follow Rd G, our entrance is between mileposts 8 and 9 on the left side.

From the Utah Border: Ismay Trading Post Rd will turn into Rd G at the border. From the Utah/CO border, drive 8.5 miles and the entrance will be on your right.

When you arrive at the main gate, it may be closed with a chain to prevent sheep and cows from roaming onto the road.

After going through the gate (be sure to close the gate if it was closed coming in), follow the road and you'll drive over a small bridge. You'll pass three houses on your right then keep an eye out for an old dodge truck which will be on your left as you enter the parking area for the Stone House and Cowboy Cabin. The Cowboy Cabin will be to the left.

Self Check-in:Since we are often working around the ranch, we do not have a formal check-in process. Please make yourself at home. If you have any issues or questions, feel free to reach out via email, text, or call.

* If you have pets, please keep them on a leash when outside.

* If you have an EV, please do not plug into the cabin outlets. There is a Level II charger by our barn and one by Sky Village that you are welcome to use.
